On December 8th, 2023, Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and Mr. Jiang ZhengJun, the Chairman of Heilongjiang Liangtou Grain Investment Group, held a seminar on Chinese agricultural products and technology at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.
Thapanee publicly stated that the Thai-Chinese Trade Association and Asian Economy and Chinese agricultural private sector held a seminar for Chinese entrepreneurs in agricultural products and technology.
There were reportedly more than 9,000 Chinese individuals from many provinces across the country.
TAT expected that this seminar would promote a positive tourism image and support the MICE (Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, Exhibitions) initiative in Thailand.
The developing agricultural innovations between Thailand and China would potentially promote agricultural products to the world’s kitchen. It will also expand the economy to other related industries at local levels, said Thapanee.
With a positive tourism image, Chinese tourists would have more confidence while traveling in Thailand, concluded Thapanee.
