Taiwanese Man Falls to Death at Khu Khot BTS Station in Pathum Thani, Police Investigating






Pathum Thani—

At 11:00 AM, on February 23rd, 2024, Khu Khot police received a report of a Taiwanese person falling from the Khu Khot BTS Station’s platform to their death in Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani.

Bhumibol emergency and rescue services were dispatched to the incident scene and found a man, publicly identified only as Mr. Sheng, a 46-year-old Taiwanese national. On the third-floor platform at Khu Khot BTS Station, there were black shoes, a black handbag, and a plastic bag containing clothes left behind, according to the police report.

Mr. Poonsak Konthab, a 65-year-old taxi driver, reportedly told the police that he witnessed the Taiwanese person fall from the third-floor platform to his death while waiting for passengers at Khu Khot BTS Station.

After witnessing the tragic death, Poonsak rushed to request for other people to help the Taiwanese person before reporting to the police.

Khu Khot police gathered evidence from the incident scene and rescue officers transported the body to Bhumibol Hospital for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

The police would further contact Sheng’s family and ask questions regarding the incident.
