NEW DELHI: An increasing number of countries will lift their Covid-time entry restrictions from next month, making more options available for the Indian globetrotter this summer. Switzerland will lift nearly all Covid-time entry restrictions from May 2, 2022, while Thailand will lift RT-PCR testing requirement for international arrivals from May 1, 2022, and introduce two new entry schemes for vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers.
Switzerland’s State Secretariat of Migration (SEM) has lifted all entry restrictions that it had put in place through the duration of the pandemic. The country is now open to all with only the general travel rules applicable for entry to the country, as before the pandemic, ST said in a statement.
