Thailand’s young forward Suphanat Mueanta said yesterday he feels no pressure wearing the No.10 shirt normally used by veteran striker Teerasil Dangda.
Thailand coach Mano Polking did not call up Teerasil and midfielder Sarach Yooyen for the War Elephants’ upcoming warm-up games in the United Arab Emirates, against Syria on Saturday and the hosts on Tuesday.
Suphanat, 20, was handed the No.10 jersey in the absence of Teerasil.
The Buriram United forward dismissed suggestions that he could be Teerasil’s heir in the national side.
