From the makers of the noughties New Zealand cinematic smash Sione’s Wedding, comes this new prequel series about Michael, Albert, Iosefa and Stanley’s misadventures as teenagers in inner-city Auckland in the 1980s.
After accidentally landing themselves in hot water, the quartet attempt to establish an alibi, but discover that if you’re pretending to be a bopping crew, it’s a good idea to know how to bop. As well as a cast of young, fresh faces, the producers promise guest appearances from all the original movie’s stars.
