Stopped at the airport for “fake” items??

Hello, I’ve been living in Thailand for 6 months now, and may go back to America soon. (Not 100% sure yet)

Over my time here, I’ve purchased a few “fake” items I thought were cool:
-fake name brand clothes
-fake name brand backpack

And i would want to buy a watch too since i never see them in America and would love to show friends and family.

I heard that some people get stopped for this? It is all personal use though and don’t have intentions of selling them or gaining a profit.

Anyone have any experience in this?
