Staying in Chiang Mai for a whole month of February

Hello.

I have recently came to Chiang Mai. So far, I like it here. Initially I was planning to stay for a month until the end of my visa exemption (3rd March).

My question is related to burning season:

As I understand the burning season has already started, but when does it go into let’s say its full form and how bad does it get? I am wondering if I should rent something for a whole month or not.
