Starting Small and Brewing Success: My Songkran Coffee Venture Story

During Songkran in 2015, I had a different idea of how to spend the festival. Instead of joining the fun, I decided to test my coffee business concept. With just a table, a gas stove, and two moka-pots, I set out to offer a range of drinks: Americano, Latte, Iced Coffee with milk, Thai tea, and Thai green tea. While people around me were splashing water and enjoying the festivities, I was focused on brewing and serving coffee to my customers, taking 6-7 minutes per cup to ensure top-notch quality.

Working from 8 am to 5 pm, I managed to sell about 70 cups of drinks per day, mostly coffee. This experience boosted my confidence in my coffee brewing skills, blends, and recipes. More importantly, it taught me two valuable lessons: start small and always prioritize quality.

By delivering a high-quality product and exceptional service, I gained the trust of my customers, and they kept coming back for more. This story is a testament to the power of starting small and focusing on excellence. I hope it inspires others to embrace similar principles and find success in their own ventures.
