Sorg and BGC sign collaboration project in Thailand

Nikolaus Sorg and BG Container Glass (BGC) have signed collaboration agreement at BGC’s Ayutthaya plant in Thailand.

BGC, a Thai container glass producer, has five plants and 10 operating furnaces supplied by Sorg.

The agreement was signed by Mr Silparat Watthanakasetr, CEO and member of the executive board at BGC, and Mr Alexander Sorg, Managing Director of Sorg, directly after the heating up ceremony of new furnace AGI F1 at the Ayutthaya plant.

By the agreement, a wide field of co-operation is appointed. The scope covers current and new furnace design, including developments, furnace optimisation, audits, and training of the staff.
