Hi everyone! I’m a solo female traveler that will be spending NYE in Chiang Mai (meeting up with my boyfriend and a friend on Jan 2, but got here early). I’m feeling a bit lonely – I did an airbnb experience in Bangkok yesterday that was all couples, so it didn’t help. Any advice on how to make this NYE special for myself?
My current plan is just to go to Tha Pae Gate, buy a lantern, and release it at midnight with everyone else. Good enough? Or, maybe there is a nice place for me to go to dinner beforehand and treat myself? Thanks in advance :)
