Phittayaporn, Busanan ousted at last 16 stage
Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai moved into the women’s doubles quarter-finals of the US$1.2 million Indonesia Open in Jakarta on Thursday.
The Thai seventh seeds defeated Debora Jille and Cheryl Seinen of Netherlands 21-12, 21-12 and will next face top seeds Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan today after the Chinese defeated India’s Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki N Reddy 21-16, 21-13.
Two of the women’s singles players bowed out yesterday.
