Six new Covid cases in Bangkok

Six new cases of novel coronavirus infection have been detected in Bangkokl, most linked to the outbreak in Samut Sakhon province.

Bangkok Metropolitan Administration spokesman Pongsakorn Kwanmuang said the diagnoses were confirmed on Friday. Four of the six had visited Samut Sakhon.

He said one of the four was an official of the Dusit district office. He went to a restaurant in Samut Sakhon and later tested positive for Covid-19.

Another was a vendor who bought goods in Samut Sakhorn for sale at a market in Lat Phrao area.

A vendor who lived in Bang Kapi district also bought seafood in Samut Sakhon, at the Talay Thai market, and delivered to a sukiyaki restaurant in Lat Phrao area.
