A blue Honda Wave sidecar motorcycle collided with a sedan on Road 331 near Pattaya yesterday morning.
The motorcycle, laden with plastic bottles, bore the brunt of the impact, its sidecar mangled beyond recognition, and shards of glass strewn across the scene. The driver, identified as 64 year old Suk Aoykam, suffered grave injuries, including a ghastly head wound and an almost severed leg, prompting swift intervention from rescue volunteers of the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation.
As emergency responders rushed Suk to the hospital for urgent treatment, attention turned to the other vehicle involved: a white Toyota Cross sedan, driven by 39 year old Kuwaiti tourist, Mohammad Fmaalsaad. The sedan displayed visible damage to its left front side, bearing witness to the violent collision that had transpired.
