Shopping in Central. Is it better to buy online or in-store?

Planning to visit soon and was browsing for activities to do in Bangkok, and stumbled upon shopping malls specifically central. I’m curious if the items sold here are legit? or class A? No offense intended. Just not familiar with the malls and shops in Bangkok.Also saw that there are some items on sale (discounted prices) posted online. Would anyone know if these items are also on sale if I buy them in-store? or should I purchase them online beforehand and just collect them when i visit?
