I visited Bangkok several times in the late 90s and mid-2000s. Each time I enjoyed the Western and pan-Asian dependable comfort food at the 24hr Took Lae Dee diner inside the Foodland supermarket on Sukhumvit soi 5.
I’m currently in Bangkok for the first time in nearly 20 years and saddened to see the place is no longer the packed and bustling eatery it once was. I totally understand Bangkok’s farang food scene has moved on but this place is legendary to me.
Does anyone have any memories or opinions of the place to share?
