Senior health in focus with the launch of ‘Yaphrom 60+’ online pharmacy

In order to support Thailand’s transition to a smart ageing society, the Department of Older Persons and Yaphrom recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch a new feature called Yaphrom 60+, which allows users to access medication and free online consultations with pharmacists, or learn how to take care of illnesses, congenital and chronic diseases on time.

Thailand has more than 12 million people aged 60 or older, and thus this online pharmacy platform will enable elderly people to interact with a network of healthcare professionals and raise awareness of their rights and welfare.

A team of physical therapists and nutritionists will be on hand to provide comprehensive healthcare service, while the Care Taker Matching service will monitor the health of the elderly, particularly those who reside in remote areas, to ensure they get prescriptions and basic…
