Seeking Advice on Payment Methods for Online Sales to Customers in Thailand

Hello r/Thailand community,

I’m reaching out for some advice and insights regarding conducting online sales with customers based in Thailand. I run a online shop and have started to see an increase in interest from customers in Thailand.

However, I’m not very familiar with the preferred payment methods or best practices for conducting online transactions in your country. Here are a few specific questions I have:

1. **What are the most popular and trusted payment methods for online purchases in Thailand?** (e.g., specific credit/debit cards, digital wallets, bank transfers), so far Im using credit card without issues but on the top of the CC fee I hae to bear another fee for changing the currency at bad rates.
2. **Are there any local payment gateways or services that are recommended for international sellers?** I’m looking for options that are reliable and have reasonable fees.
3. **How do customers in Thailand generally perceive international transactions?** Are there any trust or reliability concerns that I should be aware of?
4. **Any tips on handling currency conversion and transaction fees effectively?**

I’d greatly appreciate any advice or experiences you can share, particularly from those who have experience in e-commerce or international sales. Your insights will be invaluable in helping me better cater to my Thai customers and ensure smooth transactions.

Thank you in advance for your help!
