Scratched rental scooter

I just had a small accident with a rental scooter (Honda Click). I scratched the mirror, brake pedal and one other plastic part which covers the chain (?). All the scratches are pretty minor but visible. Would it be a good idea to change the parts in a repair shop before I give it back? Some reviews of the rental shop say that the owner is fair when dealing with damages and some say he isn’t…
