Famous for luxury interior designs, Clive Christian OBE acquired The Crown Perfumery Company in 1999.

At that time his daughter Victoria was travelling in Thailand and other countries in Asia Pacific. While in Australia, she talked to her father via a pay phone, and he asked her to come back to London to help revive the storied perfume house.

The former West End musical performer joined her father to give it a new lease of life as Clive Christian Perfume based in Mayfair.

“I was in theatre, which is about storytelling. My role now as brand ambassador also engages storytelling of The Crown Perfumery’s rich history and heritage,” she said.

American corsetier William Sparks Thomson founded the company, which also sold lotions and lavender salts to high society.
