NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: A trader in Samut Sakhon has tested positive for Covid-19 after she returned to her home in Tha Sala district of this southern province, governor Kraisorn Wisitwong announced on Wednesday.
Mr Kraisorn said the 42-year-old woman, a curry paste trader, on Sunday travelled by car from Samut Sakhon to her home village in Tha Sala district, with her husband and two other people.
Her husband then drove back, alone to Samut Sakhon.
On Monday, the woman’s mother, a health volunteer, took her daughter and the two others for Covid-19 tests. The results, on Tuesday night, showed the woman was infected. The other two were negative.
