I’ve now had 3 different kinds of automatic doors and gates close on me, very hard, and it has me wondering if these were malfunctioning, or if Thailand simply has no safety standards for such equipment?
One was my condo elevator, one was a BTS elevator, and one was an MRT gate.
In my home country, this wouldn’t happen because the systems have safety sensors, and even if the door started to close it would open again as soon as it felt even slight resistance.
Starting to think such safety sensors don’t exist here? Or I’ve just had the bad luck of encountering 3 that are broken.
