Ruling PPRP aims to win 150 House seats

The ruling Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) aims to win at least 150 House seats in the next general election, according to party secretary-general Santi Promphat.

Speaking after the party’s general meeting, chaired by party leader Prawit Wongsuwon in Nakhon Ratchasima, Mr Santi said Gen Prawit has set a goal of capturing 150 seats.

The party will now coordinate closely with its members in all constituencies and chiefs of 10 regional offices so they can convey the party’s policies to the public, he said.

He expressed confidence the PPRP can achieve the goal while dismissing the Pheu Thai Party’s claim that it would score a landslide victory in the next poll.

“I think [Pheu Thai] winning a landslide victory is just a dream. The most important thing is our actions and we will turn the PPRP into a channel for the people’s hopes,” he said when asked about the Pheu Thai…
