Hi, my husband and I (and our 12&10yr old children) are planning a road trip around Chiang Mai/ Chiang Rai. We will be in CM from around July 20th for a few weeks .
Our initial plan is to do the trip on motorbikes, however it is rainy season. Renting a car is an alternative but the feeling of driving around in a car is so different than on a bike. Is rain likely to be such an issue that we should really consider a car? We can accept getting wet at times, or being flexible with our itinerary. We will only be driving a few hrs per day.
