South of Chiang Mai and North of Doi Inthanon, near Mae Wang, is an 18km long dirt trail through the forests known as “The Jesus Trail”. Named partly for the statue marking the trail head, and partly due to it’s difficulty, this trail is an adventure highlight in the region and anyone who is interested in dirt biking should check this trail out.
A group of 9 riders attempted the trail this December during a rather unseasonal day of foggy and mist. Falls, slides, pushing and pulling were all required to finish the trail.
