Retire in Thailand with Elite Visa…..Money transfer to buy home will Subjected to tax ?

Greetings, everyone!

Thailand offers fantastic tax benefits to retirees. If you decide to retire in Thailand without bringing money into the country, you will not be taxed on your worldwide income.

Now, let’s delve into an important question: Suppose an individual with an elite visa wishes to retire in Thailand and promptly purchases a home in the country, with the funds being transferred from a foreign account to the seller. Would this money transfer be subject to taxation?

In other words, if the elite visa holder transfers money from their foreign bank account to the seller’s account, would this money be liable for taxes?

Thanks
