Restaurants with large portions/calories and high in protein? Here’s the few that I’ve found around old city, more suggestions would be welcome!

I’m a bigger guy and training a lot of Muay Thai so always on the lookout for big portions, high calories, high protein, and reasonably healthy and affordable meal options. Here’s the places I’ve found around old city that fit this criteria:

* Mr. Nu Steak – 60 baht pork steaks with fries and salad. Add a side or two of rice + an omlette or another steak and it’s easily 1,500 calories and lots of protein. [https://goo.gl/maps/ERsT3rCi6Ke51KSR6](https://goo.gl/maps/ERsT3rCi6Ke51KSR6)
* Kebab, Falafel, Salad – They have chicken schwarma wraps for 80 baht and BIG salads loaded with chicken for 95 baht. Again I like to add a side of steamed rice and a few extra eggs. Great fruit smoothies as well. [https://goo.gl/maps/KWoHuJCm6PVyYYmb7](https://goo.gl/maps/KWoHuJCm6PVyYYmb7)
* Padi Thai Por Kong – Their XXL Pad Thai is the only meal in thailand that I haven’t been able to finish. It’s gotta be at least 2lbs, probably closer to 3lbs of pad thai, shrimp, squid, chicken and tofu with an omlette on-top. 159 baht. I ordered this for lunch and it was enough calories to get me through almost the rest of the day. Their regular pad thai is also delicious and very healthy portions as well. * Arno’s Chiang Mai – We had their burgers. A single was \~150 baht and a double bacon cheeseburger was 300 baht. I was surprised at the size of the patties. They aren’t the thin small patties you get from McDonalds, these patties are easily 1/4-1/3rd pound. Cooked great, great dipping sauces, the steaks looked a bit pricey but I felt the burgers were a great value for what you get. * All the different shabu shabu, hot pot, and mookata places are great for calories and protein.

Would love to get more suggestions on places that are a good mix of portion size, protein, and value!
