Hi everyone! My family just came to Bangkok for some time. We were in Bali before that for 2 months and we loved riding scooters there. We rode all over the island, everywhere from highways to congested tiny streets. We were considering renting in Bangkok too to get around.
Do you need a motorcycle license to rent a scooter here? Does anyone have experience renting / riding scooters or motorcycles here, is it crazy? Are kids allowed to ride with their parents? We probably wouldn’t do that here as the speeds can be intense, but I’m just curious.
Any other suggestions / advice?
