I’m traveling to phuket for a few weeks and live a bit away form any main attraction. I’ll either be riding alot of taxis or renting a car.
I have a B-license from a EU country, no IDP and won’t be able to get one from my home country in time.
When asking a car rental online, they claim it’s fine and I can rent a car from them, fully insured, and won’t be fined if I show my drivers license.
Is this true or should I just go for taxi riding?
