The other day I was renewing my visa and I was shocked at how much longer the lines are compared to last year. One girl who got into the queue at 8am (when they open) was finished around 2:00 pm. A guy who got his number at 11:30 am, wasn’t finished until after 5pm. I didn’t even know they stayed open that late, but as far as I know, immigration will finish the entire queue that day.
This applies to students, tourists, and teachers renewing their visa/getting a visa extension.
I miss the Covid days when I could be in and out of immigration in a few hours.
