Hi,
I just arrived in Chiang Mai, and an Elephant sanctuary just keep appearing in the recommendations of things to do. However everytime I check the reviews, even the ones with 4.5 stars have bad comments regarding the condition the elephants are living in.
So do you know actual Elephant Sanctuary (whether it’s in Chiang Mai or somewhere else in Thailand as I’ll be traveling quite a lot).
I don’t want to back ride them, and only want to visit a place that treat them well. However I’m not sure it’s compatible with touching them and everything
