Ready for some lovin’? Thai tourism rushes romance to thirsty public

Making a love connection with Thai tourism’s help is here sooner than planned with pilot programs launching Sunday, including a Tinder partnership.

Tourism authority booster-in-chief Thapanee Kiatpaiboon yesterday said three trips are ready for testing that include destinations in Bangkok, Phuket and Lopburi provinces. In Bangkok, Tinder is on board with plans to bring 100 lonely ladies and gents together for a romantic Chao Phraya River dinner cruise. This being Thailand, the champagne and sweet talk comes only after they first pray for love at nine temples along the way.
