RCB Film Club will screen its second film of the year, a thought provoking comedy from Chile entitled, Se Busca Novio… Para Mi Mujer (Looking for a Boyfriend…for my Wife).
The date is Saturday 26 September, at 4:00 pm. Venue: RCB Forum (Second Floor), River City, Bangkok.
Starring a cast of well-known Chilean performers, the film has a duration of 1hr 40mins and has English sub-titles.
The story centres around the ups and downs of marriage. Daniel is frustrated with his moody and temperamental wife, and decides that they must split. To make the job easier for him, he follows his friend’s advice, and hires a notorious ladies man, Puma, to seduce her. He also coaxes her to take up a job. But many unexpected things happen.
The Ambassador of Chile, HE Mr Christian Rehren Bargetto will introduce the film, and host a reception after the screening. Face masks are necessary, and hand sanitiser is provided at the entrance. Seating has been reduced to half, for social distancing, and seating is restricted.
