I’m going to be in the Rayong area in the coming weeks and I’m aiming to get into Cambodia without going back to Bangkok. I’d be doing this by public transport / taxi. I’ve read up on this a bit but I’m struggling to find up to date info on how best to do this.
A potential option seems to be heading to Chanthaburi and then crossing into Cambodia either at Ban Laem or Ban Pakkad. From here I think you can then go onto Battambang?
If anybody has any experience of this journey or similar I would greatly appreciate hearing more on what the journey entails/how to go about it.
