I was in Bangkok last October and searched in vain for a fish spa. I went to several spas that used to have them. One said they were illegalized.
Now I’m back in Bangkok and the fish spas are back. In fact, in one neighborhood in Chinatown that used to have just one fish spa, now there are four.
Anyone know the reason for the disappearance and subsequent resurgence? Maybe temporarily suspended during Covid?
