A highly intelligent marine giant, manta rays gracefully glide and do somersaults in the deep ocean. However the large species is highly threatened, particularly by commercial fishing for their meat and gill plates.
Panerai and Razer have announced a partnership to support Conservation International’s research on marine species, in satellite tagging manta rays to gather data — including temperature, depth, and location — which when paired with other information, can be used to promote conservation management of the creatures and their habitat.
