Phase 1 Measures: There are 3 main measures that can be taken immediately:

Measure 1. There are two financial measures:

1.1 COVID-19 credit loan measures in total amount of 20,000 million baht to increase liquidity for both people, entrepreneurs and farmers by Government Savings Bank and Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives. Provide loans to the public of 10,000 baht per person with a more lenient basis than normal loans, 0.35% interest per month for a period of 3 years, free of payment for both principal and interest in the first 6 months.

1.2 The debt moratorium of Specialized Financial Institutions or SFIs by requiring SFIs to extend the repayment period for the debtor. Out until the end of this year to reduce the burden and be able to use the money to pay the debt to enhance liquidity. Which will from the effects that occur To take care of the debtor appropriately

Measure 2. Measures to relieve the burden of expenses The government sector will reduce the cost of electricity. And the people’s water supply And small businesses across the country During the months of May – June 2021 in order to reduce the burden of public expenses and closed businesses.

Measure 3. Continuous measures to provide relief to the people, consisting of 2 projects with a total amount of approximately 85,500 million baht, which are

3.1 Increasing the project limit, we win another 1,000 baht per week for a period of 2 weeks, ending the spending time in June 2021, the total amount is approximately 67,000 million baht.

3.2 Adding assistance to insured persons in the project, Moo 33, we love each other 1,000 baht per week for a period of 2 weeks, ending the spending time in June 2021, the total amount is approximately 18,500 million baht.

As for the Phase 1 measure, today the Cabinet has approved the implementation of both financial measures as proposed by the Ministry of Finance. And agreed to take measures to reduce the cost of water and electricity during the months of May – June.

In addition to short-term projects The government also plans to continue to help the people until at least the end of the year with Phase 2 measures: during July – December 2021, which is expected if we work together to fully limit the outbreak. The situation of the epidemic is likely to be eased to the level that measures can be taken in phase 2, with measures in phase 2 consisting of two main measures, a limit of 140,000 million baht, which are:

1. Measures to reduce the cost of living, consisting of 2 projects:

1.1 Project to increase purchasing power for those who have State Welfare Card Phase 3 by providing additional assistance 200 baht per month for a period of 6 months from July to December 2021 covering approximately 13 million 6 hundred thousand people.

1.2 Project to increase purchasing power for those who need special assistance By providing additional assistance 200 baht per month for a period of 6 months from July to December 2021 covering approximately 2 million and 5 hundred thousand people

2. Economic recovery measures By stimulating purchasing power of middle and high income people, consisting of 2 projects:

2.2 “More Usable” Project: This project will be a new project.
