Port bosses cry foul after shock Muang Thong defeat

Muang Thong United rallied from two goals down to beat Port 3-2 in Thai League 1 on Sunday night.

But while Muang Thong coach Mario Gjurovski praised his men’s brilliant fightback, Port coach Surapong Kongthep and chairwoman Nualphan Lamsam complained about the officiating.

Hosts Port raced to a 2-0 lead at half-time with goals from Hamilton Soares in the 16th minute and Worachit Kanitsribumphen after 29 minutes.

But the Kirins regrouped in the second half and got three goals from Eric Johana in the 59th minute, a Willian Popp penalty kick in the 85th minute, and Poramet Arjvilai in the 88th minute.
