Police are warning Bangkok commuters to avoid the vicinity of Sukhumvit Soi 18 and 20 amid rallies held this evening in solidarity with Palestine amid the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Thonglor police recommend that the public avoid routes of Sukhumvit soi 18, 20, and shortcuts connecting soi 22 to 20 from 4-9pm today.
Some alternate routes the police recommend include: (1) using the end of Sukhumvit soi 16 to connect to Soi 22 and Rama IV road; (2) entering Sukhumvit soi 22, 24, and 26 to reach Rama IV road or the end of soi 22 to reach soi 20 and 18; (3) using Rama IV road to connect to Sukhumvit soi 16, 22, and 24 to exit Sukhumvit Road.
