Police claim hidden elements behind Taluwang anti-monarchy group

Police believe that hidden elements are behind a recent incident, in which members of the anti-monarchy Taluwang group sounded a car horn at the convoy of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on an expressway in Bangkok, Pol Gen Torsak Sukvimol, the national police chief, told the media today, as reaction to the group’s conduct intensifies.

He said that police are investigating and collecting evidence to support charges against backers of the Taluwang group, noting that they have to proceed cautiously to make sure that the evidence is sufficient to support charges against both the group and their backers.

The police chief said they need two more days to wrap up the cases against certain members of the group, among them Tantawan Tuatulanon, over the Royal motorcade incident, so that they can file charges against them and have their bailrevoked.
