Pita wishes new PM Srettha well

Move Forward party leader Pita Limjaroenrat has wished Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin well, hoping that he will keep his election campaign promises.

Pita was in Rayong province yesterday to campaign for his party’s candidate, Pongsathorn Sornpetchnarin, in the by-election in Constituency 3 on September 10th. He braved the rain as he rode in the back of a truck with other party members.

The Move Forward party leader said that Thailand is not just facing an economic crisis, but also other pressing problems, among them environmental and educational issues, which require remedies.

He said that, when he had heard Srettha tell the media that he wants to become a prime minister for the people, he wished him luck and success.
