PGA star Kiradech reigns again in Chiang Rai

PGA Tour player Kiradech Aphibarnrat lived up to the expectations, winning the Singha Thailand Masters 2021 at Santiburi Country Club in Chiang Rai yesterday.

Overnight joint-leader Kiradech sank a final-hole eagle for a 68 to win on 15-under 269, one shot better than Phachara Khongwatmai, who also eagled the last hole for a 67.

The 22nd edition of the tournament was the season-ending event on the All Thailand Golf Tour 2021.

The 32-year-old Kiradech, who had no plans to enter the tournament, was satisfied with his performance.

“At first, I thought just to join the pro-am event but then, I decided to play. I wasn’t really well prepared for the event,” said the world No.228, whose second career title in Chiang Rai earned him his sixth win on All Thailand Golf…
