Hello, I’m having difficulties finding some specific informations on google.
I know it’s illegal to be in Thailand while working for a company abroad, but I can’t find any reliable source that mentions if this changes once a foreigner becomes a permanent resident of the country.
Would it then be ok to work for a company based in the USA for instance and just pay taxes in Thailand?
I also didn’t find anything about whether or not the process to get the permanent residency would be easier if the foreigner is married to a Thai citizen.
