People with young children, would you still choose to live in CM?

My partner and I have been considering moving to Chiang Mai for a couple of years but now we have a child the air quality issue is really causing us to reconsider.

I heard – although I’m not sure if it’s true that international schools move their holidays to around the burning season so that kids don’t have to go into school, is that true?

People already there with young kids – how do you deal with it and given the choice again would you change your mind? We’ll likely leave for around a month to my home country each year and can make that around burning season but we’re concerned that there’s another month or more where we’ll either have to pay to be elsewhere or stay inside with a load of air purifiers running.
