NAKHON RATCHASIMA: About 100 members of the “People Go” group on a protest march to Bangkok entered Sung Noen district on Wednesday, the second day of their 15-day walk to Government House.
Led by Jatupat Boonpattararaksa, known as Pai Dao Din, the marchers left downtown Nakhon Ratchasima on Tuesday morning, beginning a planned 247.5 kilometre journey.
They are calling for the release of four leading members of the Ratsadon group, the People’s Movement, being detained at Bangkok Remand Prison on charges including lese majeste in connection with the demonstrations on Sept 19-20 at Thammasat University and Sanam Luang.
