Pattaya Police arrested a woman for stealing a motorbike from a male tourist while he was vomiting on the side of the road.
A foreign tourist of unknown nationality, Mr. Fiorenzo Cardinali, filed a report at the Pattaya Police Station after his Yamaha Grand Filano motorcycle had been stolen. The man stated that on February 25th at around 6 AM, he parked his motorbike on the roadside in the Jomtien area to puke because he was feeling sick.
However, while Cardinali was vomiting, two people, one of whom was later identified by police as Ms. Sakorn Phumcharoen, 39, took the opportunity and drove the foreigner’s motorcycle off. Cardinali admitted he left his key in the ignition and later filed a complaint.
On Tuesday, March 7th, Pattaya Police were eventually able to track down Sakorn using CCTV recordings. The Thai woman was arrested at her condominium in the Thep Prasit area of Pattaya. Cardinali’s stolen motorbike was found with her, and she confessed to stealing the bike for personal use.
The suspect is undergoing legal proceedings while police are hunting down her fugitive accomplice who has yet to be identified. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=–=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
