Pattaya and Banglamung law enforcement officers have continued to crackdown on crime.
On Friday night (June 30th) at the Bali Hai Pier, relevant officers launched a crackdown campaign led by the Chonburi Governor Tawatchai Srithong. More than 300 law enforcement officers with 21 cars and 37 motorbikes joined in the launch event.
Governor Tawatchai told The Pattaya News, “The crackdown campaign is aimed to prevent crimes which could affect tourism. Nowadays, there are many crimes that are mostly with guns followed by the loss of property and life. Residents and tourists do not feel safe. The crackdown campaign is targeting wanted suspects, illegal drugs, firearms, fireworks, road racing, and more.”
