Pattaya Music Festival Comes to a Close, Seen as Major Success for the City

Pattaya, Thailand –

After four weekends of a diverse selection of artists and bands the month-long Pattaya Music Festival has come to an end as of tonight, March 25th, 2023.

The event saw dozens of bands in multiple locations across Pattaya perform to large crowds, with the biggest turnout by far for Thai band Paper Planes, whose song Bad Boy has taken the Kingdom’s youth by storm.

Pattaya City officials praised the event saying it helped promote tourism, especially domestic, and attracted tens of thousands of tourists to the area for artists such as Paper Planes, Big Ass, 1Mill, Bear Knuckle, and many more. This festival Pattaya City chose a wider variety of music according to Pattaya City Mayor Poramese Ngampiches including Mor Lam, Jazz, Easy Listening, EDM, and other styles that were not always represented as well as rap and rock.

Never one to rest however, Pattaya is preparing for a cultural festival next weekend that you can learn about here.

And in just three weeks is Pattaya’s biggest yearly festival and the first one in four years, Songkran, the Water Festival and Thai New Year. This will also see Rolling Loud, the world’s biggest traveling hip-hop festival, come to Pattaya.
