Pattaya Motorcyclist Collides with Tour Bus and Dies After Reportedly Running Red Light


Pattaya —

A Pattaya motorcyclist crashed his vehicle into a tour bus and passed away reportedly after running a red light.

The accident took place at an intersection on Sukhumvit Road in Pattaya. Police and Sawang Boriboon rescue workers rushed to the scene at 01:20 AM today, April 26th, after receiving a report from a tour bus driver, Mr. Ekapad Khamdech, 46, that a motorcyclist had crashed into his tour bus.

The victim, Mr. Pichet Chinpakdee, 35, was found lying unresponsive on the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene from his grievous injuries.

Pichet’s vehicle, a white Scoopy I, was completely destroyed.

The authorities questioned Ekapad about the accident and learned that the victim ran a red light and crashed into his bus, which killed him instantly.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage to establish the exact cause of the accident.

There were no passengers on the tour bus at the time of the accident.
