Pattaya Bar Worker Allegedly Steals 30,000 Baht from Her Boss and Flees

Pattaya —

A female bar worker in Pattaya allegedly swiped 30,000 baht from her boss after working for only 6 days. Police said the woman had a long history of crimes.

The victim and owner of the Vixen Club, Mrs. Natthida Halim, 29, took her plight to The Pattaya News yesterday, June 19th, stating a woman, who she had hired to work at her bar six days ago, stole her bar’s money worth over 30,000 baht and escaped.

Natthida said she hired the suspect, whose name is withheld by police pending an investigation, to work at her Vixen Club, located in Soi Buakhao in the Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi province. She agreed to pay the woman 13,000 baht a month as a cashier.

While the suspect was working at the club, there were no apparent issues with her, according to Natthida. However, on day 6 she suddenly turned into a thief and stole cash from the cash register and the safe early in the morning, amounting to 30,000 baht, Natthida said. Afterward, the woman escaped through the front door of the shop and disappeared.

The incident happened around 6 AM on June 18th when nobody was at the shop. The suspect was clearly captured on the CCTV cameras while stealing the money.

According to Pol. Lt. Col. Suteeraphan Tapsri, an investigator who takes care of the case, the woman has over three arrest warrants on her. He said he would try to find her as soon as possible.
