PHUKET: Police have raided a massage parlour in Patong that was operating without a licence and providing masseuses under the age of 18.
The venue, Aisha Massage, located in a small street off Haad Patong Rd, was raided at about 2:15pm yesterday (Aug 7), Patong Police announced.
The raid followed complaints received about the venue using minors to provide services, Patong Police noted.
Officers arrested the operator of the parlour, who police named only as “Ms Yupin”.
Ms Yupin has been charged with operating a health establishment without permission and allowing employees under 18 years of age to work in a place where massage services are provided to customers, Patong Police confirmed.
Patong Police revealed no further details of the raid.
